5:00-5:30pm -- Guests arrive / Networking
5:30-7:00pm -- Workshop
Improve (and practice) telling your story at Practice Your Pitch on May 2nd - led by communication strategist and coach Christina Brennan. Come prepared to work! You will be:
- Building your elevator pitch (personal or company)
- Receiving feedback from an expert and your peers
- Practicing in a safe space
- Learning tactics for practicing, as well as conquering stage fright and boosting your confidence
- Networking with like-minded professionals
Snacks will be provided to keep your energy up! You will be working independently and in small groups, and you will have the opportunity to “take the stage.”
Feel free to come work at ATLAS Workbase at any point in the day to avoid evening traffic. Sign in and networking begins at 5:00pm and the workshop will begin at 5:30pm sharp!Hosted By: Christina Brennan
As a communication consultant, Christina helps professionals and companies figure out what they’re trying to say and how to say it well. Via workshops, seminars, and 1:1 coaching, she builds messaging development, storytelling, and public speaking skills with her colleague Bryan Rutberg – founder of 3C Comms - and other local agencies.
Through her diverse background in marketing, advertising, sales, and journalism with large corporations like Microsoft and startups alike, Christina’s developed systems and skills that help her understand how audiences best consume information and how to create content that is useful and memorable. Christina loves teaching others this information and helping them be more successful as a better communicator and presenter.
